I stopped to sketch this church in downtown Joliet. Three people were hanging ornaments on top of the main door. The overcast sky this morning didn’t help to define the shade. I squinted my eyes with no solution. I was sited in the car in the shaded side, so that helped. It would be easier to figure out where North was if I knew where I was, ha! The promise of rain this afternoon is finally here, it’s raining now, almost night. Nice! Trees will be happy.
