Summer

Public places are fun to sketch. Some people like the sun, to sun bath in the sand of a beach and some others like me prefer the shade. I sketched this view under the shade of a tree. I was particularly observant of a kid who has never jump from the diving board. He was subject of jokes from his friends who were encouraging to jump. Over the course of the sketch, the kid not only jumped from the diving board, he also learned how to flip over forward and backwards, in a matter of minutes. That’s what friends are for.

The camping site had lots of big old trees with lots of shade. I aimed to sketch that and for reference I adding a couple of RV in the view. I made two sketches of typical summer.
