Guanajuato II Part 7. More of the capital city

Although I'm in San Luis Potosi city and few days from returning home, I have more sketches of this beautiful city.

Presa de la Olla, a dam, it's a place where families go mostly on Saturdays and Sundays. Little paddle boats are for rent and there's plenty of places to eat around the dam. Rosy is the owner of one of them. She inherited the business from her parents. We craved for a beer but she didn't sell any. She was gracious and sent her daughter to buy it for us next door.

Here is a sketch of the Cafe Conquistador from the interior looking out up hill.

Sketching the overwhelming detail of this theater was a challenge I enjoyed a lot. This is Teatro Juarez.

Finally I'm posting a sketch of the Plaza La Paz, the equivalent of Trafalgar in London. I skipped the people and focus of the statue and the top of the main church. A beautiful city indeed.
